With Thanksgiving nipping at our heels, the “Give Thanks Board” mounted in the lobby at Renaissance Saint Luke gives residents a chance to share the many things, large and small, for which they are grateful. Sentiments about friends, neighbors, family, God, the RSL staff and many other things appear on the board. Some posts are quite thoughtful, while others are light-hearted.
“Thankful I can walk, talk, hear, smell and see, and for every other thing often taken for granted.”
“I am thankful for my good health, comfortable home and many good friends here at RSL.”
“I am thankful for Jean, who takes care of my dog Maddie, loves her and even takes out my garbage, although I wish she wouldn’t.”
New posts are being added every day, and the board provides a wonderful chance for all to take a moment and reflect on the positive things in their lives.
