New blood at Ren Saint Luke!

Hey, y’all! Hilary Harris is in the house!

Hilary joins us for a nine-month internship and will make a great addition to the RSL team. She’ll be a regular contributor to our newsletter and will host monthly events and presentations. Hilary will schedule outside organizations such as CEDA to bring info and knowledge to our residents, and she’ll create a printed resource guide to use ongoing.

Best of all, Hilary will make herself available for private, confidential meetings with residents.  Her hours at RSL are Tuesdays and the first and third Thursdays, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Marco Formigoni, Program Director at Renaissance Social Services, will be mentoring Hilary’s internship. Thanks, Marco!

Hilary comes to us from the Adler School of Professional Psychology, where she is a second year Master of Arts student in Counseling. She’s worked in the healthcare field for many years – as a medical secretary at various hospitals, a cardiac monitor technician, a mental health counselor at an inpatient psychiatric facility and as a certified drug counselor. She grew up in the Chicago area and now lives in the suburbs with her husband and two dogs. Hilary is really looking forward to her stint at RSL.

NOTE: Last – but in no way least –  Nurse Irene will be at RSL on Wednesday mornings from 10:00 am to noon. Yay! We love Irene!
